Hey guys and gals!

I am gearing up for YCTC 2007. I just sent an email to our webmaster with camp info. The jury is still out on what shows we will do this summer. I had planned on doing Midsummer. However, since the main stage company will do Midsummer this season, it is out for us. Maybe next summer.

I am open to suggestions! Give me some good reasons with your suggestions though. Sell it to me!

I am busy, busy finishing up my master's degree and getting ready for one new infant.
Just think. It was during the end of camp last summer that I found out this little one was on the way. And now, here I am, thinking about YCTC and my new baby again.

I'm having a girl! Her name is Ella Merle, and she'll be here in mid-March. Kaylan is SO excited to have a little sister. She is also excited to see you all at the camp again this summer. She loves watching you pros work.

I can't wait to here how all of you are faring in the world!

I wuz hur and I say there should be either one play or two different ones. There was too much rehearsal time. I know I am not one to talk because I hold two records. One for being with YCTC every time and every time not practicing my lines enough. But I feel I have gotten over that (to an extent). I find the full throttle tacky personally but that is just me. Pretty much bring back some of Tyler's old stuff. I completely understand lots of rehearsal but a little more character development. I like the return of one-hour blocks. I think you should send in the way I learned about YCTC that is the most important way of spreading YCTC is to go to schools and spread the word. I am planning to give out flyers to my school and I believe that is where we need to work. I have always wanted to do stuff on the water stage and think that is a great place because of the arts fair and it is a good place. Middle schools, high schools are where you will get people. Use the recourses you have. You might be doing this and if you are you need to expand to the entire student body. If I have offended anyone in any way I am sorry I do that without thinking about it sometimes and do not mean it.

Beth,

I'm so glad you are coming to play this summer!

I will try to figure out how to post upcoming camp info on this site. I know it will be posted to the OSP site by February.

Have you done any shows this year?

Jake,

I think you have great ideas!

Thanks for the feedback and for your willingness to take matters into your own hands to get flyers out there at your school.

I will definately be handing out flyers at the Tempest performances for all the high school audiences. There are usually a few hundred high schoolers in attendence.

I'm also hoping that this blog will work to get the word out.
A link to it will be posted with the camp info on the OSP site.

Word-of-mouth is so important. You are the young arts community. You must spread the word to those you know will be interested.

It's my birthday and my favorite band literally told me happy birthday...and then a really cute guy kissed me for no apparent reson and then i ate sushi and stuff. It was great. And i guess its not over...but still...im old. But i do think age is overrated and i'm really like 13. I mean i should be used to random guys kissing me in the hallways and almost getting me sent home. but im not. im 13. ish. I need to know when camp is going to be. becuase believe it or not i might even cancel europe plans for all you people. Maybe. But then id have to go to africa. So i do need to know soon...ish. And I MISS YOU BETH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AH!!!!!!!!!
